Randy Nash Named President of Tennessee Funeral Directors Association

We are pleased to announce that Randy Nash of Crestview Funeral Home, Memory Gardens & Cremation has been installed as President of Tennessee Funeral Directors Association (TFDA). The TFDA is a Tennessee Funeral Professionals leadership advocate, through communication, education and legislation; thereby empowering the licensed funeral professional the ability to serve at the highest level. The TFDA has 230 member firms. Randy has served on the convention committee of the TFDA for several years and most recently as Middle Director, Secretary/Treasurer for the year 2017-2018, and Vice President for the year 2018-2019. Randy Nash, Jr., a native of the Nashville area, was born and raised in Hendersonville, TN and is a lifelong resident of Sumner County. Having known all his life that he wanted to serve others; Randy has worked in the funeral industry since the age of 14. Randy is a licensed funeral director and embalmer; he has been employed with Family Legacy since 2005 and is the General Manager of Crestview Funeral Home and Memory Gardens located in Gallatin. Randy is a graduate of Goodpasture High School and John A. Gupton College with a degree in Mortuary Science. In addition to his work in funeral service, Randy served as a Reserve Patrol Deputy with the Sumner County Sheriff's Office for almost 10 years. He is an active member of the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce where he serves as Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Directors. Randy is also a graduate of Leadership Sumner and now serves on their Board of Directors. Recently, Randy has become more involved on a national level attending several Conventions and Advocacy Summits with the National Funeral Directors Association; he was selected to attend Meet the Mentors in the Spring of 2014, has completed NFDA's Arranger Training and is a Certified Crematory Operator through NFDA. In addition to his work in funeral service, Randy and his wife, Ashlee, own and operate Binkley Nash Furniture and Design in Gallatin and are active members of First Baptist Church Gallatin. He and Ashlee make their home in Gallatin with their daughter, Anna Jayne, son, Randolph, III "Rand", and their cocker spaniel, Brooks.
