Harry Farris

On Tuesday, February 14, 2023, Harry A. Farris, age 87, of Gallatin, TN, passed away.  He was a beloved and devoted husband and father.  Born to Clarence and Margaret Farris, Harry enlisted in the U.S. Navy in August of 1953, serving 20 years, retiring in 1973.  After retirement, he eventually settled in Tennessee where he met his love, Rachel L. Spann.  They were together for nearly 34 years.

Harry loved spending an afternoon fishing and a trip to the casino (especially if he won).  He also loved a good barbeque with friends and family and watching an episode of Blue Bloods or an old John Wayne western.  He is survived by his sons Tim and Brian Farris.  The visitation service will be held Saturday, February 25 from 12 pm – 2 pm at Crestview Funeral Home in Gallatin with service at 2pm in the chapel.  Interment with military honors to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens.
