Gerald Bechman, Sr.

Gerald Allen Bechman, Sr., age 69 passed away on October 14, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Virginia Bechman and his sister, Debra Bechman. He is survived by his sons, Gerald (Dina) Bechman, Jr., Daniel (Suzanne) Bechman and Andrew (Raven) Bechman, step-son, Jeremy (Christie) Townes, grandchildren, Jesse and Genna Pace, Ivan, Graham and Liam Bechman, Anna Kate, Dean, Dawson and Ginny Grace Bechman, Austin, Ethan, Brayli and Joslyn Townes, great-grandchildren, Charlie and Pheobie McCann.

Gerald was a loving father and devoted Peepaw who loved spending time with his family. He never missed birthdays or sending out birthday cards. He was a 1969 graduate of Gallatin High School and a 1973 Graduate of Vanderbilt. He was a construction project manager for Hardaway construction and Olympian construction. He was a quick witted super thoughtful caring man who loved watching his grandkids play sports, he also loved to play golf and watch Vanderbilt Athletics.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday October 19 from 5-8 PM and on Wednesday from 10-11 AM at Crestview Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at Crestview Funeral Home with interment to follow in Crestview Memory Gardens.
