William O. Bostick, "Bill", age 67, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016. Bill is preceded in death by his grandparents; Bernard and Rose Marie Leinfelder, and parents Melville Arthur Bostick and Letha Leinfelder.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Ruth Bostick (Gray), of 42 years, children; Lisa Gail Durham (William Mark), Donna Marie Cart (Michael Lee), and David Wayne Henry (Paula Gayle), siblings; Pamela Sclicher (Marvin Jack), Jessie Mary Dean (John William), Mary Ann Thursby, and Amy Elizabeth Jowers (Billy). Bill is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, his dogs, "Baby Girl" and "Scruffy" along with many other relatives and friends.
Bill was the owner of Bostick Builders in Gallatin for over 20 years. He enjoyed skydiving, golf, playing Texas Hold em' and woodworking. Bill was an exceptional cook and enjoyed barbeque. He enjoyed cooking and baking for his family and was known for his pies and desserts.
Bill was the foundation for his family and was a loving, kind and generous husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He will be dearly missed by his family and by all those who knew him.
A life celebration for Bill will be held at Crestview Funeral Home, 1623 Highway 109 North in Gallatin, TN on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 12:00PM. Visitation will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM and again on Tuesday, one hour prior to service.
