Waymond David "Wade" Jackson, age 90 of Gallatin, passed away January 14, 2020. Mr. Jackson was born on April 28, 1929 in Tabor City, NC to the late Waymond David Jackson and the late Lula Turner Jackson. Wade was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a very accomplished musician and entertainer; he was a BMI award winning songwriter and had personally written over 40,000 songs. He was a one of a kind man who everyone loved; and a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Janice Jackson; brothers, Charles Leviner and James Leviner, Jr.; and sisters, Brenda Brown and Lonnie Etta Leviner. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jackson; children, Jim Luketich (Mary) of Dripping Springs, TX, Tracey Robnett (Brad) of Houston, TX, and Khristina Losh (Steven) of Bethpage, TN; grandchildren, Erin, Jennifer and Daniel Robnett, and Garrett Losh; siblings, Marvin Jackson, Stonewall Jackson, Mavis Jackson, Treasa Bortree and LeRoy Leviner; step-son, Harlon Piercy (Laura); and step-grandchildren, Regina and Sam Piercy, and Davis Carr. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 18th at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 5-8 P.M.
