Wanda Gayle Smith

Wanda Gayle Smith, age 68, of Gallatin, Tennessee, entered into peace on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Wanda was born on October 18, 1954, in Gallatin, Tennessee to her parents, Fred and Elizabeth Williams. When she was 18 years old, she married James H. Smith, on October 6, 1972. For work, Wanda was a secretary for Vol State Community College; where she retired after a career of 25 years.

Wanda Gayle (Williams) Smith, is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, James H. Smith; son, Jeremy Smith (Rachel Smith); sisters, Carol Smith, and Becky Pilcher; grandson, Tanner Smith (Klaysha Smith); great grandson, Mason Smith; and soon to be, great grandson, Deacon Smith.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Fred Miller Williams; mother, Mary Elizabeth (Hall) Williams; son, Shane Smith; and sister, Connie Williams.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
