Tracy Mitchell

Age 56, of Gallatin passed away Sunday, August 21 at her residence surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
A celebration of life service will be Tuesday, August 23 at 6pm from the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Noble Parrish officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23 from 4pm until the time of service.
Tracy was preceded in death by her daughter, Abbey Grossnickle Harris, who died in a tragic car accident on June 28, 2016; her parents, Joe Hamilton and Justine Hamilton Wilson and Godparents, Jimmy and Ruby Ramsey.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Mitchell; sisters, Lynn Nystrom of Gallatin, TN and Trina (Mark) Cook of Columbia, TN and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Following her service in the U.S. Navy, Tracy was employed by the U.S. Postal Service until her retirement. After her retirement she moved back to her home of Gallatin, TN.
