Mr. Tony R. Hicks, age 50, of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on October 26, 2014.

When talking with the family it wasn't hard to figure out how loving and protective he was of his family. Tony loved racing, car shows, tractor pulls, his friendships he acquired over the years and family time. If he loved anything more it would be his grandkids. As a small child Tony found his calling as an auto mechanic which he spent his entire life doing, if asked he said it was in his blood, his father started him out young and instilled the family and work values. Tony would live by the rest of his life. As Tony became older he enjoyed traveling with family to Gatlinburg and Talladega to watch NASCAR. His family did agree that he would want everyone to remember him as he was and to always try and live life to the fullest everyday.

Mr. Hicks is preceded in death by his father Bedford Euell Hicks. He is survived by his loving wife Lori Hicks; daughter Crystal (Brain Rye) Fowler; grandchildren Chris and Cory Fowler; mother Nellie Hicks and sisters, Melissa (Richard) West, Karen Peterson, Yvonne Spears, and Anita Gibson.

A Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 3pm at Crestview Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2pm until the time of service. Crestview Funeral Home 1623 Hwy 109N, Gallatin, Tennessee 37066 (615) 452-1943
