Timothy Durham, 69, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on April 14, 2026.
Timothy was born on March 24, 1957, in Fulton, Kentucky. He was a successful and highly skilled residential electrician who took great pride in his work and the life he built with his hands.
He was a man who truly appreciated the simple things. Timothy enjoyed watching NASCAR, westerns, and crime shows, and he was a devoted football fan—especially when it came to cheering on the Washington Redskins. Whether it was a race, a game, or a favorite show, he found comfort in the familiar and joy in the everyday.
Timothy loved spending time outdoors, creating countless memories with his family. He could often be found riding motorcycles or relaxing poolside, listening to rock and roll. He had a lively spirit, was always full of stories, and loved to cut up and joke with those around him. Giving nicknames to family and friends was just one of the many ways he showed his affection and kept everyone laughing.
Above all, Timothy adored his grandchildren. Being “Pepaw” was one of the greatest joys of his life, and he took every opportunity to spoil them and grant their wishes. His love for them was constant, generous, and full of pride.
Timothy will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his humor, his storytelling, and the deep love he had for his family. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles to those who knew him.
Timothy Joe Durham will be dearly missed by his daughters, Savannah Durham (Steven Richard), Vicky Durham (Marvin Stewart); grandchildren, Jaxson Woods, Easton Richard, Corey Stewart, Trey Stewart, Meliah Stewart; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Pamela Stinson (Jeff), Karen Effler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Joe Durham; mother, Carolyn (Estes) Durham; his former wife of 37 years, Janice Durham; and brother-in-law, Ray Effler.
Funeral services will be held at Crestview Funeral Home, Memory Gardens, & Cremation, on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until time of the memorial service at 12:00 PM. Pastor Buddy Daniels will be officiating. Inurnment in Crestview Memory Gardens will immediately follow.
