Teresa Summers

Teresa Elaine Summers, age 59 of Bowling Green, KY and formerly of Portland, TN, passed away February 6, 2017 surrounded by her family. Teresa was born January 16, 1958 to Phyllis Britt Williams and the late Jesse Duncan. Teresa was a dedicated mother and grandmother who deeply loved her family; she was strong-willed and independent, able to do almost anything. She could sew, craft, grow or crochet anything you could ever want. Famous for her cooking, everyone loved her banana pudding, potato salad and meatloaf. Teresa will be remembered for her willingness to do anything for anybody. She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Summers; daughters, Jessica Taylor (Kirk) and Nichole Dillard (Stacy); mother, Phyllis Williams (Jessie); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dillard, Christon, Brayden and Addison Taylor; sisters, Rita Sloman (John) and Julie Tarrence (Garry) and half-sister, Alicia Duncan. Family and friends of Teresa will gather to celebrate her life on Wednesday, February 8th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Crestview Funeral Home.
