REECER, Shirley Ann Owen Age 71 of Gallatin passed away December 10, 2013. Mrs. Reecer was an energetic loving and kind woman. She was always the first to nurture you back to health when you were sick. She was a true caregiver and homemaker. She enjoyed going to play bingo, cooking, dancing, reading in her later years, and spending time with her family. She was an Elvis fan to her core, when she collected anything it was always something to do with him. She was a Christian woman that attended church at Liberty Baptist Church. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and person that cannot be replaced. Preceded in death by her brother, William Vandevort. Survived by her husband of 21 years, William B. Reecer; children, Anthony Ray Green, Paula Green Milligan (Monty), Lillie Reecer Searcy (Chris) & Kimberley Green O'Neal (Patrick); 3 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Louise Clark; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A Life Celebration will be held 2pm Sunday at Crestview Funeral Home with Bro. James Gill officiating. Visitation will be 1:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday and 12:00pm - 2pm Sunday at the funeral home.
