Ms. Shirley May Miederhoff, age 77, of Portland, TN; passed away on June 29, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 20, 1943 in Cottontown, TN to the late James and Lena Murphey. She is also preceded in death by one niece, Patty Heatherly.

Shirley loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed cooking, planting flowers, fishing and sewing quilts and blankets. Her family will remember her as a strong woman. She was truly an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be truly missed.

Shirley is survived by her children, Johnny (Darlene) Brown, Cindy Brown, Gayla (Ronnie) Darnell, Richard Miederhoff, and William (Quinna) Miederhoff; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A life celebration will be held at 12pm, Thursday, July 2nd at Crestview Funeral Home with burial in Crestview Memory Gardens. Family will received friends from 5-8pm on Wednesday evening and again Thursday morning from 10-12pm prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathon Trapp, Josuha Lawson, Justin Lawson, Brandon Ensley, Aidin Lawson, and Joshua Darnell.
