Samuel Ray Robets, Sr. Age 67 of Portland passed away May 22, 2014.

Ray was a free spirited & strong willed man that cattle farmed most of his life. He was a fun loving & outgoing guy who loved to joke around. He was called the "Crochet King" by his family. He loved to cook, farm and spend time with his family. He was a great husband, father & friend that will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by his parents, Fannie Delana Roberts & Samuel Ivy Roberts; daughter-in-law, Melissa Roberts. Survived by his devoted & loving wife of 47years, Mary Nell Roberts; children, Samuel Ray Roberts, Jr., Kelly Faulton (Jerry), Brian Roberts; grandchildren, Amber Roberts, Adam Roberts, Ashley Faulton & April "LuLu" Faulton; sisters, Bobbi Jean West, Ellen Clemons & Joann Arnold; brother, Wayne Roberts; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
