Sallie Sawyer

Sallie L. Sawyer, 65, entered into eternal rest on April 3, 2017, with her family by her side. Sallie was born and raised in Mt. Olivet, Tennessee on March 6, 1952, to Luke and Lucille Sawyer. She was a homemaker. She loved her church, the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, and was very active with church activities, including the Charity Lodge.

Sallie was preceded in death by her brother and sister, Luke Sawyer Jr. and Clara Branham. Sallie leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sherry Nalls. Her brother, Rocky Holder (Carol). Her grandchildren, Martina and Justin Nalls, and a great-grandson, Solomon Nalls.

A life celebration service honoring Sallie will be held Friday, April 7, at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, at 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends and family at the church from 11:00 to the time of the service. There will also be visitation with the family on Thursday, April 6, from 4:00 to 7:00pm, at Crestview Funeral home, 1623 Hwy 109 North, Gallatin, TN. 615-452-1943.
