Robert Floyd, Sr.

FLOYD, Robert "Bob" Wayne - Age 64 of Gallatin passed away October 22, 2013. Bob was a hard working, honorable, loving man that loved to joke. He was an honest kind man that touched many lives. He served his country in the United States Air force. He also was a member of the American Legion Post #17 and a Helm Radio Operator and the Lagardo & Creekview Church of Christ. He enjoyed the Grand Ole Opry, Westerns, The TN Vols & most of all spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Altha & A.D. Floyd; brother, Butch Floyd; nephew Jason Floyd. Survived by children, Robert Wayne Floyd, Jr. (Hannah Lilly), Twyla Haley (Donnie), Adley Floyd, III; loving companion, Jean West, grandchildren, Summer Rose Floyd, David "DJ" Earl Brewer, Jr., Robert Wayne Floyd, III, Will Lilly, Lydia Lilly & John Thomas Lilly; sister, Judy McDonald (Grover) & Susan Thomas (Joe); brothers, Howard Floyd (Chris) & Donald Floyd (Beverly); aunt Mary Floyd; several nieces, nephews & extended family. A Life Celebration will be held 11am Saturday at Crestview Funeral Home.
