Age 92 of Gallatin passed away August 19, 2015.

Mr. Brown was a kind & loving husband, father, and friend. He had never met a stranger in his life and also always thoughtful of others. He was an avid enthusiast of all sports and a dedicated Gallatin High School Football team fan. He had attended their games for the last 70+ years. He was also a devoted Christian that was a lifelong member of Hartsville Pike Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Hazel Reynolds Brown; parents, Geneva Story Brown & Joe Duncan Brown. Survived by his children, Gale Brown, Don Brown (Jane) & Terry Farley (Mike); 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; several extended family members and friends.

A Life Celebration will be held 3:00pm, Saturday, August 22nd at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ with Bro. Doyle Farris and Bro. Brian Jarrett officiating. Burial to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens with family and friends to serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be The Gallatin High School Football team. Visitation will be 2:00pm - 7:00pm, Friday at funeral home & 12:00pm - 3:00pm, Saturday at Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hartsville Pike Church of Christ Youth Fund.
