Peggy Crowder, age 78, of Gallatin, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025.
Peggy was born on June 28, 1947, in Portland, Tennessee. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Known for her kind heart and generous spirit, Peggy always put the needs of her family first. She was thoughtful, compassionate, and deeply loved by all who knew her.
In her free time, Peggy found joy in planting flowers and treating herself to visits at the hair salon. She brought warmth and beauty to everything she touched, and her memory will be cherished forever.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, James Crowder; daughters, Christie Roberson (Eddie) and Kimberly Harrison; grandchildren, Adam Crowder, Christopher Harrison, Justin Roberson, Paige McCarter (Dustin), Peyton Harrison, and Hanna Harrison; and great-grandchildren, Addison Kelly and Mason Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Pammy (Crowder) Brewer; her parents, Perry and Bessie (Hesson) King; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services honoring Peggy’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 5, at Crestview Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will take place from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., followed by a graveside service at Crestview Memory Gardens.
Peggy’s love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family leave behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
