Paul Booth Thomas passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 19, 2018. Paul was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 10, 1922, and was the second son of Warren Seymour Thomas and Frances Booth Thomas. He married Doris Addleton in 1946. They lived in Columbus, OH while Paul completed his education at Ohio State University where he earned a B.A in Business in 1949. He was a member of the Phi Upsilon Omicron National Honor Society and a lifetime fan of the Ohio State football team.

They moved to Wilmington, Delaware where Paul worked as a computer analyst for E.I DuPont Company until his retirement in 1983. He was a faithful member of the Cedars Church of Christ where he served for 20 years as a deacon, treasurer and Bible school teacher. He and Doris retired to Cape Coral, Florida in 1983 where they enjoyed their retirement. They were one of the first families to establish the Lord's Church in Cape Coral. Paul sang in the chorus and chaired the senior ministry. in 2006 they moved to Gallatin, Tennessee to be near their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Paul was a faithful Christian, loving son, devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. A faithful member of the Hartsville Pike Church of Christ, he was actively involved in the World Bible School Ministry.

He was a World War II veteran serving as S/Sgt from 1941-1945 in England, N. France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He was awarded the EAME Theater Ribbon with 3 Bronze stars and good conduct ribbon.

Preceded in death by his parents, Warren Seymour Thomas and Frances Booth Thomas; brothers, Leroy Thomas, Don Thomas, David Thomas; sister, Edna Liming. He is survived by daughters, Patti Thomas and Karen Cummins (Bill); grandchildren, Billy (Tina), Elizabeth Worsham, Steven Worsham (Jen), Chris Cummins(Bailey), Benjamin Cummins; great-grandson, Hunter Worsham, Logan Worsham, Gage Cummins, and Greer Cummins. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Thomas (Mary Ann), nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ on Saturday, January 27, 2018 with visitation from 2-3PM prior to service time at 3PM. Burial will be in Cape Coral, FL with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Potter Children's Home in Bowling Green, KY.
