Patsy Richardson

Patsy Jean "Pat" Richardson, age 71 of Gallatin passed away October 25, 2018 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Pat was born on September 18, 1947 in Glasgow, KY to the late Roy Cecil Flowers and Golda Ooten Flowers. Pat was raised in Gallatin and attended Gallatin High School. She was retired from UPS in Nashville after over 20 years of service, known for her punctuality. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Pat's children described her as hardworking, independent, loyal to everyone she knew; she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Rhonda Cooper (Steve), Danny Richardson; grandchildren, Joshua Cooper, Jonathan Cooper, Joseph Cooper, Nathan Richardson (Anna Jane), and Alaina Richardson; great-grandchild, Casen Richardson; sister, Shirley Wright (Cliff); uncle, Orestus Flowers (Geraldine); special cousin, Linda Stockton-Steele (Grady); numerous cousins, family members, and friends. A Life Celebration Service honoring Pat will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 11:00 A.M. from the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 239 N. Boyers Ave, Gallatin with Bro. Ron Mathis officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church. Ms. Richardson will be laid to rest next to her parents at a later date in Crestview Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations honoring Pat may be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 239 N. Boyers Ave., Gallatin, TN 37066.
