Mrs. Ovie May DeSheles, age 83, passed away October 28, 2019 at NHC Hendersonville. Ovie was born on August 2, 1936 in Scottsville, KY to the late Claude and Bessie Webb. She is also preceded in death by her husband, George DeSheles, Sr.

Ovie loved her family and spending time with them. Her favorite time was getting together with her whole family at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ovie enjoyed bowling, fishing, and cooking. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend who will be truly missed.

Ovie is survived by her children, Vicky Robertson (Tim), George DeSheles, Jr. (Marsha), Randy DeSheles (Latricia), Diane Escue (Billy), Ronnie DeSheles (Kay), Roger DeSheles (Terina), Tammy Abshire (Tim), Penny Jacobs, Angie Abbott (Charles), and Helen Wingo; 25 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.

A life celebration will be held Thursday, October 31st, 2pm at Long Hollow Baptist Church with burial at Crestview Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8pm at Crestview Funeral Home and on Thursday two hours prior to the service at the church.
