Monica Adcock, age 74, of Nashville, TN passed away on Saturday January 31, 2015.

A loving wife, mother, and friend to all, Monica was a vibrant and compassionate soul who never met a stranger. A maternal figure to many, and a friend to even more, her passion in life was a sincere love for all children and the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of everyone she touched. Highly regarded in her community, she was never hesitant to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. She will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steve Clouse. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Bob Adcock; children, Bill Adcock (Nathan Napier), Patty Daugherty (Kevin) and John Adcock; grandchildren, Joel Daugherty & Cadi Mae Adcock-Napier; brothers, Matt and Andy Clouse; sisters, Bobbi Rike and Kay Thompson; her adopted family, Sharlene, Michelle, and Melissa Helzer and a special friend of 65 years, Ardith Rhorer.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 2p.m. in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Burial will follow immediately in Sumner Memorial Gardens.
