Michael Romano

Michael "Mikie" Romano was born on December 1, 1987 in Statesville,North Carolina. We lost him much too soon on August 6, 2017.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Walker, father, Michael Romano; sister, Tricia Downing; nephew, Kellan; paternal grandmother, Patricia "Nannie" Romano; paternal great-grandfather, Michael "Papa" Tomecko. Mikie is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other close family members.

Mikie was very kind and loved to be around his family and friends. He loved to laugh, and he had a goofy sense of humor. He enjoyed watching movies, collecting old WWE DVDs and flashy jewelry, listening to classic country music, and of course surrounding himself with the people he loved. Mikie had a good heart and would share anything he had with anyone. Mikie's family takes comfort in knowing that he is in Heaven now, free from pain and sadness. He will be dearly missed.
