Mercedes Rosario

Mercedes Rosario, born on July 4, 1942, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025 in Gallatin, TN, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Known for her caring nature, Mercedes dedicated her life to helping others with what many describe as a servant's heart. Her spirit was deeply rooted in her spirituality, which guided her path and shaped her relationships.

Mercedes cherished her family above all. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sonia Villafane, her sons, Raymond Marrero and Lawrence Cabrera, and her grandchildren, Mario, Maria, Martina, Desi, along with eleven great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Rosa Rosario, her sister, Graciela Rosario, and brother Jose Rosario.

Her visitation will take place on September 26, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Crestview Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation, located at 1623 Hwy 109 N, Gallatin, TN 37066.

Mercedes Rosario will be remembered for her unwavering love, her cherished relationships, and her impact on all who knew her. She will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of her family and friends, as well as in the many lives she touched throughout her journey.
