Mr. Max Witzigreuter, age 85, passed away on August, 26, 2020. He was born on April 12, 1935 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Max Witzigreuter, Sr. and Helen Witzigreuter.

Max loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to The Lake and being with his lake family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and mentor to many who will be truly missed.

Max is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Barbara Snowball. He is survived by his children, Tim Witzigreuter (Cindy); Lisa Maples (David); grandchildren, Megan Witzigreuter, Jeffrey Maples (Tiffany), Stacie Leggo (Cameron); Max Witzigreuter(Lyn); great-grandchildren, Owen Leggo; Adley Leggo, Ellis Leggo, Timothy Ryan Witzigreuter, and Emma Maples; several extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeffrey Maples, Max Witzigreuter, Cameron Leggo, Todd Behnfeldt, Doug Snowball, and Kevin Snowball. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Behnfeldt, Jeremy Behnfeldt, Josh Behnfeldt, Bobby Snowball, Keith Ridenous, and Stan Charles.

A life celebration will be held at 2pm, Saturday, August 29th at Crestview Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Friday and again from 12-2pm on Saturday. Entombment will be at Sumner Memorial Gardens.
