Mr. Luther Edward Smith, age 79, of Bethpage, TN passed away on November 8, 2020. He was born on November 15, 1940 in Overton County TN to the late Basley Smith and Auda Warden. Luther is also preceded in death by his first wife, Naomi Smith; step father, Charlie Gray; brothers, Charles Gray and Clyde Gray; sister, Clara L. Morss.

Luther is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Marie Woodard Smith; children, James (Sherry) Smith, Tom (Sherry) Smith, Cathy (Steve) Young, David Sherrell, Christopher (Annie) Sherrell, Tonia Sherrell, Joey (Barbara) Sherrell, and Nathaniel Piper; siblings, Dolphus (Jeannie) Smith, Barney (Bettye) Smith, Mary Jo Gray, and Aleda (Verble) Moore. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A life celebration will be held on Friday, November 13th at 1PM in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Wednesday and Thursday evening from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Crestview Memory Gardens.
