Lola Kendall Horton, Age 80 of Bethpage, passed away July 12, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends.

Mrs. Horton was a loving, caring and Christian woman with a contagious smile. Some other words best describing her would be meticulous, organized and unconditional love. She loved humming birds, Collecting Cook Books, Antique Books, and Thrift Shopping. A family member said it best; "The most beautiful of humans left us today. Which selfishly leaves us heartbroken and missing her. But today she was reunited with her husband, parents and brothers. Today she is no longer in pain."

Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Melvin Horton. Survived by her sons, Rubin (Carolyn), Michael (Donna), Marshal (Susan) & Ryan (Terri); daughter, Kim Rowe (Barton); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

A Life Celebration will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Crestview Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens.
