Kenneth Ellison, age 54, of Portland, Tennessee, entered into rest on July 22, 2026. He was born on March 15, 1972, in Guntersville, Alabama.

Kenneth dedicated 20 years to Home Pro in Westmoreland, Tennessee, where he took great pride in serving his customers with their home improvement needs. Through his hard work and kind spirit, he built lasting relationships with both customers and coworkers, many of whom became lifelong friends.

Kenneth had a passion for the outdoors. He found peace in camping, tending his vegetable garden, and spending time fishing with his family—especially "jugging," which always brought a little extra excitement. Affectionately known as "Frog", Kenneth was also known for his exceptional barbecue skills. He enjoyed cheering on Auburn football and was a loyal Dale Earnhardt fan.

Kenneth was a man who consistently put others before himself. He valued honesty, offered wise and sincere guidance, and was someone family and friends could always trust. His quick wit, warm personality, and wonderful sense of humor filled countless gatherings with laughter and created precious memories for those who knew and loved him.

Above all, Kenneth's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was his family. He was a loving husband, devoted father, caring son, and the kind of brother anyone would be blessed to have. His unwavering love, strength, and presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Kenneth Dale Ellison’s memory will be cherished by his daughter, Amanda Summers (Logan); mother, Ruth Ellison; brothers, Gary Ellison (Lisa), Eddie Ellison (Heather), Johnny Ellison (Kristy); brother-in-law, Chris Murphy (Dana); nephews, Dale Ellison (Liza), Johnny Thomason (Anastasiya), Braden Ellison, Ethan Ellison (Jessica); nieces, Ryan Ellison, Alyssa Ciufo (Brett), Jessica Ellison, Kelly Martin (Michael); and great-grandmother-in-law, Lena Phillips.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 26 years, Melissa Ellison; father, Thomas Ellison; father-in-law, Terry Murphy; and mother-in-law, Brenda Murphy.

Visitation with the Ellison Family will take place at Crestview Funeral Home, on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and again on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Bro. Greg McCoy will be officiating the funeral service in honor of Kenneth Ellison. Interment in Crestview Memory Gardens will immediately follow.

Those serving as pallbearers are Logan Summers, Dale Ellison, Lazarus Beair, Sheldon Bennett, Ethan Ellison, Brian Beair, Luther Summers, and Terry Garrison. Mr. David Sims will be serving as an honorary pallbearer.
