Age 90, of Portland passed away June 16, 2016.

Ms. Cummings was a kind, loving and friendly woman that had never met a stranger. She was also a selfless and Christian woman who was a lifelong member of Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church. She loved 3 things in life, her family, her church & her neighbors. When she wasn't doing for others, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading and most of all, spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Charles B. Cummings; parents, Sadie Pauline Braswell Perry & William Tad Perry; Survived by her children, Sally Wise & Donald Cummings (Debbie); grandchildren, Anthony Cummings, Kelly Payne, Kristina Cummings, Kim Cummings; great-grandchildren, Katie Cummings, Mia Payne, and Addison Cummings; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A Life Celebration will be held 11:30am Monday June 20, 2016 at Crestview Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10:30am - 11:30am Monday at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church.
