Katheryn Woods

Woods, Katheryn "Katy" Jane, born November 5, 1926 in Algood TN. Died February 13, 2017.

She was predeceased by her husband Doug Woods, and brother W.H. Bentley.She is survived by her brother Porter "Red" Bentley, and five children: Cathy Underwood, Laurie Dillard, Wendy Green, Jim Woods, and Malcolm Woods.

Katy was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Gallatin, TN, worked several years at the Vol State Community College Bookstore, and served as a volunteer at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She was born in Algood TN, and grew up in Carlinville, IL. She loved the outdoors and gardening, and her travels took her to almost every state and most of Canada. She was a wonderful friend, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Our Beloved Katy was always on the go, and she is most certainly doing something in that place on high!
