Mrs. Karen Bowker Sadler, age 69 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Maple Cottage Memory Care of Hendersonville, TN. She was born June 28, 1950 in Dickson, TN to the late Robert Juinor Bowker and the late Mary Agnes Bowker Albright. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Hendersonville. She was a 1968 graduate of Dickson High School. Mrs. Sadler was a Vice President with SunTrust Bank in Nashville, TN., before her retirement to enjoy her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, summertime cruises and morel mushroom hunting in the Spring. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Buddy Sadler; children, Trey Sadler, Joseph Sadler (Debby), and Troy Sadler (Ashley); brother, Gerald Bowker (Angelee); grandchildren, Josh (Lindsey), Joseph (Micah), Hayden, Cole, Kyleigh, Siara, Sophie, Keaton, Griffin, and Grayson; and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sadie, Avery, and Eli; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, August 11th at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with her son, Troy Sadler officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Dickson, TN. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 2-8 P.M. and Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
