Joyce Washburn

Joyce Annette (Anderson) Washburn, age 63, of Cotton Town, Tennessee, entered into peace on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born July 18, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana. When she was 21 years old she married Roy E. Washburn, July 18, 1980. In their 42 years of marriage, they raised three children and welcomed seven grandchildren into the world. Joyce was a stay at home wife most of her life, but she was also an assisted manager of Dollar General for a few years. Joyce was a talented crocheter, and artist. She also enjoyed canning her own vegetables, and appreciated garden gnomes. Her family will miss drinking coffee and playin skitbow, and other card games with her. She will be dearly missed.

of 42 years, Roy Edgar Washburn; children, Dawn Washburn (Willard), William Washburn (Amanda), and Frances Washburn (Robert); grandchildren, Thomas Gannon, Candi Gannon, Morgan Washburn, Brooklyn Bradley, London Washburn, Shane Gannon, and Remmington Washburn; brothers, Floyd Anderson, George Anderson (Linda), David Shrum; and sister, Katie Ramsey (Ricky).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Anderson; and baby sister, Candie Shrum.

Funeral services for Mrs. Washburn, will take place on Saturday, June 24, at 11:00 A.M., from the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation will take place 2 hours prior to service, on Saturday, from 9:00 A.M., until 11:00 A.M., and on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 3:00 P.M., until 7:00 P.M..

Those serving as pall bearers are Willard Gannon, Thomas Gannon, Josh Anderson, and Dave Cates. All grandchildren will accompany the pall bearers, carrying Mrs. Washburn to her final resting place.
