Joseph Bonfiglio

BONFIGLIO, SR., Joseph "Frank", a lifelong resident of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, died in Nashville, TN on May 31, 2013. Mr. Bonfiglio, born November 25, 1920, was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Bonfiglio and Antonia P. Bonfiglio and sisters Theresa Trapen, Mary Senia, and Antoinette Bonfiglio. Survivors include his spouse of 60 years, Gloria S. Bonfiglio, son, Dr. J. Frank Bonfiglio, Jr. Cynthia of Nashville, TN; daughters Bonnie C. Christy Gary of Reynoldsburg, OH and Beryl A. Causey Michael of Broken Arrow, OK and son Robin L. Bonfiglio of Jefferson, LA; grandsons Dr. Colin Bonfiglio Laura and Dr. Joel Causey and granddaughter, Erin Causey. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 until 1946. He was a career educator with the Jefferson Parish Schools and retired in 1978 with 36 years of service. A family memorial gathering will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at the lakeside pavilion at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
