John Edward Wright, Jr., age 66 of Gallatin, passed away suddenly March 3, 2017 at his home. Edward was born in Nashville on December 30, 1950 to the late John Edward Wright, Sr. and Jean Elizabeth Bartley Wright. Edward was a loving husband, devoted father and brother; he was retired from Sumner County Schools with over 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mary McKoin Wright; daughters, Elizabeth Simpson (Kyle) and Diana Hunter (Ian); 3 grandchildren; sister, Maribeth Wright Buckner and brother, Jon B. Wright (Joan). A Life Celebration Service honoring Edward will be held on Monday, March 6th at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with Scott Tittle officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, March 5th from 4-7 P.M. and Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
