Jean Holleman Steward, age 89 of Gallatin passed away October 31, 2017. Ms. Steward was born on October 29, 1928 in Difficult, TN to the late MackHenry and Lillie Mae Holleman. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who always took care of everyone. Her family best described her as the "backbone of the family" and that she was always the one there whenever anyone in the family needed anything; she was the caregiver of the whole family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Sandra Jane Johnson and Robert Wayne Wicksell. She is survived by her son, Jim Robbins; grandchildren, David Steward, Jr., Holli Steward, Candace Campbell and Heather Robbins; great-grandchildren, Laparis and Rayvin Rickman; great-great grandchildren, Kalianna Hawkins and Naliyah McDonald; sisters, Virginia Phillips, Mary Hysell; brother, Paul Holleman and several nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration Service honoring Jean will be held on Saturday, November 4th at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Alexander officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens with family members serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 4-8 P.M. and Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
