James W. Kinnard, Sr. - Age 75, of Hendersonville, formerly of Castalian Springs, passed away November 26, 2016.

Mr. Kinnard was easy going, kind & loving father & husband that held never met a stranger. He was good with his hands and could make or fix anything. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, going to the race track to watch his boys & most of all spending time with his family. He was a man of men and will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Betty Jean Kinnard; parents, Sherman Kinnard, Sr. & Grace Phillips Kinnard; sister, Linda Whitt; brother, George Kinnard. Survived by his children, James Kinnard, Jr. (Elaine) and Steven Kinnard; grandchildren, Stephen Kinnard, Jr. LaShawna Summers, Alicia Ruiz, Joseph Bowman, Bobby Bowman and Jennifer Barton (Donald); 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Willine Adamson (Johnny); brother Sherman "Junior" Kinnard, Jr. (Deanie); several nieces, nephews & extended family members.
