Harold Bell

Harold Gene Bell, age 61 of Bethpage, passed away May 4, 2019. Harold was born on July 14, 1957 to the late John Carey Bell and the late Helen Kathleen Waldrop Bell. A veteran of the United States Army, Harold worked in construction most of his life after the military, he enjoyed his work and loved to build. He was kind hearted and would do anything for anyone; he once saved his mother from a house fire. Harold was a beloved friend, brother, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving companion, Mary Pewitt; sons, John and Matthew Bell; step-children, Leeann Carson (Jeremy), Melissa Pewitt, and Jennifer Pewitt; 6 grandchildren; sister, Vickie Reeves; brother, Douglas Bell; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
