Etta Belle Porter - Age 86, of Gallatin passed away February 15, 2015.

Mrs. Porter was a kind, humble, faithful woman to God, her family and friends. She had a loving soul and loved to help & serve others. She was a longtime member of McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting dolls, quilting, going to yard sales, word searches & puzzles, reading, watching & listening to ballgames and most of all cooking for and spending time with her family. She was a great woman that will be forever missed.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Thomas Huston Porter; parents, Martha Pervis Gann Wright & Marlin Bennett Wright; sisters, Beulah Elizabeth Wright Swindle, Minnie Selma Wright & Gradie Victoria Wright Kirkham; brothers, Roscoe Donald Wright, W. L. Wright & Robert Devon Wright. Survived by devoted son and caregiver for the past 6 years, Tommy Huston Porter (Becky), son, Jeff Porter (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Haley & Lacey Porter.

A Life Celebration will be held 11:00am Thursday at Crestview Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens with Rick Herod, Zach Morris, Jimmy Looper, Ed Mumpower, Jackie Porter & David Jones serving as Pallbearers.
