Age 74, of Gallatin passed away February 5, 2016.

Erelene was a feisty, loving, and outgoing woman that would always let you know her thoughts. She also was a very hard worker. She worked for many years in the shirt factories and the last 23 at Walmart. She enjoyed watching wildlife & butterflies, gardening in her backyard with her butterfly bushes and flowers around her Koi Pond, sewing that she passed to her children, buck dancing and doing word puzzles. She was truly a unique woman that will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Stewart; mother, Lutrell Gregory Butler; father, Hubert Clay Butler; sisters, Pauline & Claudine; brothers, J.D & Clyde. Survived by her children, Kay Thomas (John), Fay Coleman (Keith), Penny West (Don), Dennetta Robinson (Steve), Rocky Thomas (Lee-Anna) & James Thomas (Josie); 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Audean Dias & Olene Harwell (Bill); brother, Roger "Bud" Butler (Linda); several nieces, nephews & extended family members.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation of Smith County for the outstanding care, concern, and compassion shown to not only Ms. Stewart but them as well.
