Earnest Phillips

Mr. Earnest Lee Phillips, age 88, of Gallatin, passed away on April 11, 2022. He was born in Gallatin on February 5, 1934 to the late, Henry Marvin Phillips and Dora Bell Bandy. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Una Lee Phillips; and many brothers and sisters.

Earnest spend most of his younger days working on lawn mowers and cars. He always had hound dogs to go rabbit and squirrel hunting. He also loved his grandchildren more than anything and enjoyed listening to country music.

He is survived by his daughter, Diana Robbins; three grandchildren, Christina Phillips Davis (Robert), Ellen Wylie (Murray), Stephanie Joyner (Kyle); four great grandchildren, Aidan Wylie, Olivia Wylie, Eric Joyner, Jacob Joyner; and his siblings, Russell Phillips and Viola McGee.
