Donya Marie Rada

July 30, 1973 — May 1, 2025

Portland

Donya Rada, age 51, of Portland, embraced the arms of her savior Jesus Christ, on May 1, 2025. She was born July 30, 1973, in Nashville, Tennessee. Donya was a woman who was completely fierce. She was passionate in everything she did and had a true exuberance for life. Donya loved being a wife to her husband of 10 years, Anthony; she was a beautiful mother and bonus mom to their children; she adored her grandchildren and being their Gigi; and was THE Aunt DD. Above all else, Donya was a child of God. She thirsted for Jesus and worshipped Him whole heartedly. Even in the final stages of her terminal illness, even when she had to be held up to stand and praise Him. Donya was a loyal friend and always genuine. When you think of Donya, remember how she loved her family and trusted the Lord. Remember how she would dance, how she loved to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles, and how she was always soaking up the sun. Her memory will be forever cherished, and she will be dearly and deeply missed by many.

Donya Marie (Walker) Rada is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony Rada; children, Jacob Bo Dozier, Jaron Mathew Phillips (Daile Kalyn), Dylan Michael Locke, Zachary Alexander Rada, Benjamin Matthias Rada, Samuel Eliab Rada; grandchildren, Harden Keith Phillips, Harisyn Joy Phillips; mother, Betty Marie Davis; step-father, Richard Gayland Hutson Sr.; brothers, Josh Dewayne Hutson, Joseph Ray Walker (Ashley); sister, Hollie Renee Walker; nieces, Kenzie Paige Wehrle (Brandon), Kylie Grace Hutson, Kenzie Walker, Paislee Walker, and canine companions, Nyla and Grace.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Ray Walker; and her brother, Richard Gayland Hutson Jr.

The family of Donya would like to recognize Gentiva Hospice and their church family at Oasis Seventh Day Adventist Church, for their compassion and unwavering support.
