Diana Dozier Parks, age 77, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Alfred Stewart and Estelle Poole Stewart, first husband, Edgar S. Dozier Sr., second husband, J.D. Parks, great-granddaughter, Kinsley Paige Dozier, grandson, Kevin Shrum, and brother, Mike Stewart.
Diana is survived by her daughters, Deborah Broner and Dana (Leslie) Civils, sons, Edgar (Orvilleen) Dozier Jr., Tracy (Dana) Dozier and Ray (Sandy) Dozier, brothers, Wayne (Doris) Stewart and Jimmy (Jewel) Stewart, sister Marie Turley and adopted great-granddaughter Georgia Roberts. Diana is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, along with many other relatives and friends.
Diana retired from Goodyear Tire in Gallatin after 21 years. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Diana was a member of Buck Lodge Church of Christ. Diana was a loving mother who put her family and friends before anybody and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by her family and by all who knew her.
Life celebration for Diana will be held at Crestview Funeral Home in Gallatin on Thursday, December 24th at 10:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Nathan Knight. First visitation will be on Tuesday, December 22nd from 12-8PM, second visitation will be on Wednesday, December 23rd from 10-8PM, all to be held at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Gallatin.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Pearson, Wesley Olson, James Olson, Johnny Huffines, Austin Crane and Daylan White. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Buck Lodge Church of Christ and residents of Mitchell Road.
