Charles Eugene Matthews, of Middleburg, FL; formally of Gallatin, TN died at age 76 on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Charles is the beloved husband of Dale Davis- Matthews; much loved father of Greg Matthews (Jamie) and Tammy Mahoney (Sean); cherished grandfather of Bobby Matthews, Stephanie Loomis, Megan Mahoney, and Zac Mahoney; great grandfather of Timothy, Makenzie, Cherish, Nick, and Owen.

He is also survived by his sister, Wanda Seagraff and the late Helen Bratcher and Doc Matthews.

A life celebration will be held at 12pm, Saturday, June 5th in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with entombment at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 3-8pm on Friday and again Saturday one hour prior to the service.
