Brenda Dunn

Brenda Dunn, age 65 of Castalian Springs, passed away suddenly February 3, 2019. Brenda was born on March 15, 1953 to the late James Wesley Banes and the late Odie Bell Elliott Banes. She graduated with her nursing degree from the University of Tennessee at Nashville and was a Registered Nurse in the Nashville area for over 30 years, working in several different facilities and several different specialties. Brenda also owned and operated multiple home health agencies, and was a former part owner of Suncrest Home Health. Horses were her passion, she was the owner and breeder of Blue Ribbon Tennessee Walking Horses; and the owner of Cannon Ridge Stables in Castalian Springs, TN. She enjoyed fishing and being on her farm or at the lake house; most of all she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family's needs before her own. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ronald R. Dunn, Jr.; children, Keith Dunn (Sarah Geeslin) and Kelly Dunn (Dustin Spears); grandsons Colton Dunn and Carson Dunn. A Life Celebration Gathering will take place on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 2-5 P.M. at Crestview Funeral Home.
