Bobby Randell
Spinks
May 28, 1956 – June 13, 2026
Bobby Spinks, age 70, of Portland, Tennessee, entered into rest on Saturday, June 13, 2026. He was born on May 28, 1956, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he was raised and lived most of his life. Bobby was a man who truly loved to live freely. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life and cherished the freedom of the open road. Riding his Harley wasn’t just a hobby—it was a passion that reflected his adventurous spirit and love of life.
After the birth of his daughter, Brenna, Bobby re-centered his focus and devoted himself to being a loving father. He enjoyed a successful career as a semi-truck driver for more than 20 years while also working as a “part-time” farmer whenever he was off the road. On the family’s generational farm, Bobby and Brenna shared countless memories raising Black Angus cattle, hunting, fishing, farming and caring for horses. Their bond remained strong throughout her adulthood, and Bobby affectionately referred to her as his “baby girl child.”
Bobby was a member of Anna Sand-Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church. His faith, work ethic, and love for family were evident throughout his life.
Later in life, Bobby relocated to Tennessee, where he charmed Ms. Brenda Maulden, his life partner of 17 years. Together, they created their own country oasis and enjoyed spending time with family, riding side-by-sides and four-wheelers, fishing in the pond, and making cherished memories. They also loved to travel, especially to Florida, where they enjoyed relaxing and indulging in fresh seafood.
Bobby adored his grandsons and took great pride in being a “Grandpa". He will be remembered for his kind and loving nature, his hilarious storytelling, his unwavering loyalty to those he loved, and the exceptional character he displayed throughout his life.
Bobby Randell Spinks will be dearly and deeply missed by his daughter, Brenna Dillard (Brandon); grandsons, Colton Upton, Landon Dillard, and Cayden Dillard; his beloved life partner of 17 years, Brenda Maulden; his faithful canine companion, Pearl; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Estil P. Spinks; his mother, Ruby Jewel Spinks (Simmons); his sister, Phyllis Simmons; and his uncles and influential mentors, James Spinks and David Simmons.
Though Bobby’s journey on earth has come to an end, the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
