Betty Cox, age 78 of Gallatin, passed away September 28, 2019. Mrs. Cox was born on July 7, 1941 in Sumner County to the late Elmer and Nellie Brazzell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Brazzell and sister, Linda Baskerville. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Tom Cox; children, Gloria Head, James Cox (Janet), and Tracey Cox; 4 grandchildren; and sisters, Virginia Sadler and Penny Gregory. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 2nd at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bush's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
