Ms. Bernice D. Brown, 77, of Gallatin, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2018. She was born on December 31, 1940 in Rock Springs community of Sullivan County, TN to the late Frank Andrew Smith and Hazel Gertrude Williams.

Ms. Brown was a true homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for her family and sewing. She was a selfless caregiver and was always putting others before herself. She had a great sense of humor and loved making others laugh. She was a devoted Christian and follower of Christ. She was truly a loving mother, grandmother, and sister; she will be truly missed.

Ms. Brown is survived by her daughters, Diana (David) Lockhart, Margaret Thomas, and Robin; grandson, Easton Thomas; and brother, David (Beverly) Smith.

A life celebration will be held 2pm Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Crestview Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Long Hollow Baptist Church, Gallatin Campus Building Fund.
