Gallatin

Belinda Ann Walsh, 75, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025. Born December 18, 1949, in Lufkin, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Quinton Williams and Katherine Havard Williams.

Belinda had a fulfilling career as the administrative assistant for the Adult Education Director of Sumner County, where she dedicated her efforts to helping individuals obtain their GED. Her work reflected her passion for education and her desire to support others in pursuing their goals.

She attended Diboll High School in Diboll, Texas, where she met James (Jim) Walsh, her husband of 58 years. Together, they built a life filled with love and memories.

Belinda’s family was the center of her universe. She was a proud mother to Lisa Ann (Matthew) Nagy and Brenda Diane Cox, and cherished her role as a grandmother to Katelin (Dakota) Trotter, James (Sabrina) Nagy, Mackenzie Cox, and Ryleigh Cox. Her heart overflowed with joy as she became a great grandmother to Quinton Trotter and Ila Nagy, creating bonds that will forever be treasured.

In her personal time, Belinda found solace in the early morning hours, sipping coffee while watching the birds in her flower garden. Those moments were often accompanied by the soothing sounds of old-time gospel music and the reading of her Bible, activities that brought her peace and comfort.

Adventure was also a part of her life, as she looked forward to annual road trips out west to Montana, Wyoming, and Utah, as well as meaningful trips to the beach each year. Additionally, she became an avid scrapbooker, capturing memories and creating a tangible expression of her love for her family.

A memorial service is being planned.  Dates/times/location will be updated to this obituary once they've been determined.

Belinda A. Walsh will be deeply missed by her husband, James (Jim) Walsh; daughters, Lisa Ann Nagy and Brenda Diane Cox; sister, Carolyn Austin; grandchildren, Katelin Trotter, James Nagy, Mackenzie Cox, and Ryleigh Cox; and her great-grandchildren, Quinton Trotter and Ila Nagy. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she touched.

Crestview Funeral Home, Memory Gardens, & Cremation Center has been entrusted with Belinda's final arrangements.
