Beatrice H. Kincaid, age 97 of Portland, passed away September 7, 2019. Mrs. Kincaid was born on May 15, 1922 in Cleburne, Alabama to the late Winfield Scott Howell and the late Evie Boner Howell. She was a hard working person, working well into her 80's; her children describe her as a great Christian wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Kincaid; daughter, Edna Faye Kincaid; sisters, Eva Bell, Margie McGowan and Martha Price; and brothers, Pete Howell and B.F. Howell. She is survived by her children, John W. Kincaid (Anita) of Nashville, Linda Kincaid Beauman (Martin, III) of Castalian Springs and Barbara Kincaid George (Bobby) of Portland; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 9 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucy Scofield of Anniston, AL and Dollie Naegli of Portland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 11th at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with Robert George and Jerry Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Halltown Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until service time.
