Barbara Pace, age 85, of Portland, Tennessee, went to be with her heavenly Father on November 1, 2024.
She was born on June 4, 1939, to her parents, Harold and Augusta Wright. Barbara worked as a LPN for 30 years. In her leisure time she was a part of a sewing club and was talented with needleworking. She was the most loving and caring mother, who poured into her children. She was known for her sacrifices and her strength. Barbara made the best chicken and dressing you ever tasted and delicious cookies. Her nurturing spirit was also manifested in her service to her community; she was president of the FCE (Family Community Education) Club for several years. Barbara also loved her flowers and to watch things grow. She was a devoted Christian woman who was a member of Salem Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women. Her memory will be cherished, and she will be dearly missed by many.
Barbara Dean (Wright) Pace is survived by her daughters, Debbie Bumbalough, Judith A. Stone; son, Richard Pace (Tammy); grandchildren, Mindy Pace, Dean Finch (Elizabeth), Brittany Button (Logan), Chad T. Belcher, Dustin Bumbalough (Angela), Harley Pace (Brittney), Dalton Pace (Amber), Tyler Edwards; great-grandchildren, Baylee Johnson, Bryson Button, Brooklyn Finch, Emma Button, Leo T. Belcher, Amiyah Pace, Luka Pace, Leim Pace, Knox Pace, Ethan Domenick, and Trinity Hager; and her brother, Harold Wright (Elise).
She was preceded in death her father, Harold Calsis Wright; mother, Augusta Anne (Jennings) Wright; brother, Albert Wright; and grandson, Richard B. Pace.
