Anita F. Jones-age 76 went home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2015. She was born on October 20, 1939 in Kilgore, TX.
When remembering Anita memories of cooking, sewing, and tending to her flower garden come to mind. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Leora Hulsey; sisters, Katherine Dean and Carolyn Wilson; brother, Robert Hulsey. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert J. Jones; daughters, Shelia Brock (Eddie) and Teresa Goodwin (Mike); sons, Bill Jones (Yvonne) and Donnie Jones (Sandra); 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Eva Brogan (Bernie) of Columbus, Ohio; sister-in-law and best friend, Joyce Jones Shoulders; special nephews, Ricky Brogan (Debra) and Kevin Brogan (Kimila) and a host of other nieces and nephews
A life celebration service will be held on Monday November 2, 2015 at 1pm at Crestview Funeral Home with Bishop Sam Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens.
